From simple garden or property maintenance to a full scaled extension or renovation project, The GED Group can assist you from draft to design and through to completion. We are here to help you in any way we can.

Below are only a few examples of our work.

A very busy family want to create a tropical themed, lower maintenance front yard.

The garden boundary was planted with a hedge of lilly pilly. This defines the garden and will give much needed privacy from the neighbours.

This is a steep property, with multiple terraces and required some creative designing. Frangipanis from other parts of the garden were transplanted to give height and compliment the tropical under planting that has been used.

Once established this garden will be lush, very low maintenance, hardy and stunning.

TERRACED GARDEN DESIGN //  01

Complete home extension and renovation, both inside and out. All designs, styling and construction was carried out by The GED Group, as too was the garden design, landscaping and interior design.

A large project that took approximately 6 months to complete. A small (?? square metres) 1957 house, was transformed into a home (200 square metres).

DECKING/BOARDWALK DESIGN //  03

LAWN REJUVENATION DESIGN //  04

This front yard needed a new lease on life. We designed around an existing native garden and mature fruit trees, by incorporating decked walkways and entertaining areas.

In designing a courtyard, we created a secluded oasis to sit and rest.

Garden lighting was added, and gives dramatic effect and wonderful functionality. Soffitt downlights, as well as board walk path illumination have highlighted the beautiful garden and entertaining areas.

The original garden was well preserved, with only five plants having to be removed to allow for the new landscaping. Four of which were re-planted elsewhere.

This project incorporated the entire large yard, from front to back. With substantial waterflow from surrounding land, this backyard needed to have drainage issues dealt with first. Creative design and planting was also taken into account to manage this water flow.

The owners wanted to retain as much lawn as possible and to improve its quality. They also wanted to add a new dimension to their yard, which would draw them outside to enjoy their patio and garden.

Our design with 'dry' creek bed, lilly pilly hedging surrounding the yard, as well as adding shrubs and grasses, softened the lines of this large garden. We also also added interest and features such as a gazebo that have been planted up with climbers.

No corner was left un-tended. Access to the garden shed was solved with a decked pathway through the added gravel mulch.

Bromeliads were added to give simple interest around the established shady trees.

The front yard was 'smartened up' to match the backyard with new mulched beds and lawn care.

Fruit trees and a working vegetable patch were the final pieces to the puzzle.
